The Financial Services segment provides dealer and customer financing, leasing, banking, insurance, fleet management, and mobility services.
Volkswagen AG also owns many subsidiaries, such as Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Scania, MAN, and Porsche Automobil Holding SE. Today, Volkswagen AG is a global company with more than 200,000 employees and operates in more than 150 countries. The company has also invested heavily in electric vehicles, with plans to increase its global investment in electric cars from 3 billion euros in 2020 to 33 billion euros by 2029. In addition, the company has committed to combining its electric vehicle and infrastructure activities under one entity called Volkswagen Group Components.
