Its main segments are Radio Broadcasting, Cable Television, Reach Media, and Digital, which operate in the African-American and urban target markets. The Radio Broadcasting segment consists of 64 broadcast stations and 8 HD stations located in 13 urban markets. The Cable Television segment owns and operates the African-American targeted cable television network - TV One and CLEO TV, a lifestyle and entertainment network. The Reach Media segment provides syndicated programming, such as the Get Up! Mornings with Erica Campbell Show, Rickey Smiley Morning Show, the Russ Parr Morning Show, and the DL Hughley Show. It also operates BlackAmericaWeb.com, an African-American targeted news, and entertainment website. The Digital segment provides the African-American community with social content, news, information, and entertainment websites, including Cassius and Bossip, HipHopWired, and MadameNoire digital platforms and brands.

Since its inception, Urban One, Inc. has grown to become a leader in the urban media market with a portfolio of diverse brands that reach African-American and urban audiences. It owns and/or operates a total of 74 broadcast stations (54 FM or AM stations and 20 HD stations) in 15 urban markets, serving an estimated 37 million weekly listeners. In addition, its Reach Media segment reaches 20 million unique monthly visitors and its Digital segment provides 25 million unique monthly visitors with highly-engaging content.

Urban One, Inc. also continues to expand its reach through alliances and partnerships with entertainment brands, including the annual Radio One Music Festival and the “Get Up!
