Spirit AeroSystems Holdings, Inc. is a leading global aerostructures manufacturer and a major supplier for major aircraft OEMs. The company designs, engineers, manufactures, markets and maintains commercial and military fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft aerostructures. It provides complete aerostructures for new aircraft programs, as well as aftermarket repair, maintenance, and overhaul services.

The company operates through three segments: Commercial, Defense & Space and Aftermarket. The Commercial segment offers forward, mid, and rear fuselage sections and systems, struts/pylons, nacelles, and related engine structural components; and wings and wing components, including flight control surfaces, as well as other structural parts to aircraft OEMs, engine OEMs of large commercial and business/regional jet programs. The Defense & Space segment provides fuselage, strut, nacelle, and wing aerostructures primarily for U.S. Government defense programs. The Aftermarket segment offers spare parts and MRO services, repairs for flight control surfaces and nacelles, radome repairs, rotable assets, engineering services, advanced composite repairs, and other repair and overhaul services.

Spirit AeroSystems is one of the world’s largest aerostructures manufacturers and one of the largest employers in the US with about 13,000 employees located in Tulsa and McAlester, OK; Subang, Malaysia; Winnipeg and North Bay, Canada; Prestwick, UK; Nagoya, Japan; and Kinston, NC. Its facilities include a world-class composite materials manufacturing center in Kinston and the world’s first titanium composite manufacturing facility in Tulsa.
