The company sells its products to a network of approximately 400 wholesalers in the United States, as well as international wholesalers, importers, or other agencies that in turn sell to retailers such as grocery stores, club stores, convenience stores, liquor stores, bars, restaurants, stadiums, and other retail outlets. The Boston Beer Company also sells its products in Canada, Europe, Israel, Australia, New Zealand, the Caribbean, the Pacific Rim, Mexico, and Central and South America.

The Boston Beer Company has seen tremendous growth during its 35-year history. In 2019, the company reported revenue of $1.1 billion, up from $973 million in 2018. It also reported a net income of $182 million, up from $153 million in 2018. The company currently employs more than 1,000 people, most of whom are based in its Boston headquarters.

The company is also a leader in sustainability initiatives.
