The company distributes its products through various channels, including wholesale and other distributors, foodservice customers, grocery stores, drug stores, convenience stores, discount/dollar stores, mass merchandisers, membership stores, hard discounters, and e-commerce retailers and authorized independent bottlers. PepsiCo also offers direct-store-delivery, customer warehouse, and distributor networks, as well as directly sells to consumers through e-commerce platforms and retailers.

PepsiCo is headquartered in Purchase, New York, but has a large international presence, with operations in more than 200 countries and territories. The company employed over 290,000 people in 2020 and generated over $67 billion in total revenue. PepsiCo’s portfolio includes 22 brands with more than $1 billion in estimated annual retail sales each, including Pepsi, Lay’s, Quaker, Gatorade, Mountain Dew, and Doritos. In addition to its huge array of beverage and food products, PepsiCo is also the largest snack maker in the world and the second-largest food and beverage company in terms of net revenue. PepsiCo has embraced sustainability and seeks to reduce its environmental impact through initiatives such as the Sustainable Farming Program, the Global Water Challenge, and the Carbon Challenge.
