Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. - Petrobras is a Brazilian multinational petroleum company and is the largest company in Latin America by market capitalization and revenue. It is involved in the exploration, production, refining, trading, transportation, and marketing of oil, natural gas, and other liquid hydrocarbons. Petrobras is also engaged in the exportation of ethanol, extraction and processing of shale, logistics and trading of natural gas and electricity, transportation and trading of liquefied natural gas (LNG), generation of electricity through thermoelectric power plants, holding interests in transportation and distribution of natural gas, and fertilizer production and natural gas processing business. It also produces biodiesel and its co-products, and ethanol; and distributes oil products.
