Par Pacific Holdings, Inc. is involved in energy and infrastructure activities and is split into three parts: Refining, Retail, and Logistics. The Refining department holds and runs three refineries that produce various types of fuel like ultra-low sulfur diesel, gasoline, jet fuel, marine fuel, and more, mainly for the markets of Hawaii, Pacific Northwest, Wyoming, and South Dakota. This section of the company operates 119 retail outlets that provide merchandise such as drinks, food, and various other items in Hawaii under the labelsHele, 76, and nomnom. In Washington and Idaho, they provide gasoline, diesel, and merchandise labeled under the names Cenex, nomnom, and Zip Trip. In addition, they also own and run terminals, pipelines, a single point mooring, and trucking operations to distribute refined products to different areas of the Hawaiian islands such as Oahu, Maui, Hawaii, Molokai, and Kauai. This segment leases ships, runs a crude oil pipeline collection system, owns a reclaimed products pipeline and storage facilities in Wyoming, as well as a jet fuel stockpile and pipeline that serves Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota. Furthermore, it manages a marine terminal, a unit train-capable terminal, multiple storage units, a truck rack, and its own pipeline that furnishes Joint Base Lewis McChord. The company initially was known as Par Petroleum Corporation but was modified to Par Pacific Holdings, Inc. in October 2015. It was established in Houston, Texas in 1984.
