Penske Automotive Group, Inc. is a diversified transportation services company, operating automotive and commercial truck dealerships through its four segments: Retail Automotive, Retail Commercial Truck, Other and Non-Automotive Investments. The company has franchise agreements with various automotive manufacturers and distributors and sells new and used motor vehicles, vehicle and collision repair services, finance and lease contracts, third-party insurance products, aftermarket products and wholesale parts. In addition, it runs a heavy and medium duty truck dealership offering Freightliner and Western Star branded trucks, used trucks, and maintenance and repair services. It also provides imports and distributes Western Star heavy-duty trucks, MAN heavy and medium duty trucks, buses, and Dennis Eagle refuse collection vehicles with associated parts in Australia, New Zealand, and portions of the Pacific region. The company also distributes diesel and gas engines and power systems.

Penske Automotive Group, Inc. currently operates 320 retail automotive franchises, including 146 franchises located in the United States and 174 franchises located outside of the United States; 23 CarShop used vehicle dealerships in the United States and the United Kingdom; and 37 commercial truck dealerships in Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Georgia, Utah, Idaho, Kansas, Missouri, and Oregon, as well as Canada. It debuted on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker PAG in January, 2002 and currently has a market capitalization of over 8.7 billion dollars. In 2020, Penske Automotive Group was named to Fortune Magazine’s list of the World’s Most Admired Companies for the eleventh consecutive year. It was also ranked 39th on the Automotive News list of the Top 150 automotive retail groups in the United States, based on 2019 new-vehicle retail sales.
