The Diabetes Operating Unit segment offers products to help people with diabetes manage their healthcare, including insulin pumps and consumables, continuous glucose monitoring systems, and smart insulin pen systems.

Today, Medtronic has more than 87,000 employees and a presence in more than 160 countries, and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). The company reported sales of over 30 billion dollars in 2019 and has a market capitalization of approximately $125 billion and is a member of the S&P 500 index.
