Koninklijke KPN N.V. is one of the leading providers of telecommunications and information technology (IT) services in the Netherlands. Initially founded in 1881 as the Royal Dutch Company of Telegraphs and Telephones, the company has since expanded its services to offer a wide range of products, including fixed and mobile telephony, fixed and mobile broadband internet, and television services to retail consumers; a variety of infrastructure and network-related IT solutions to business customers; and a selection of wholesale network services to third parties.

The company also provides a wide range of IT services such as cloud and workspace, cybersecurity, interconnect traffic, visitor roaming, digital products, and NL-ix, an interconnect exchange. Additionally, the company sells handsets and peripheral equipment, and software licenses.

KPN is a publicly traded company headquartered in Rotterdam, the Netherlands and its shares are listed on Euronext Amsterdam. It is one of the most valuable companies in the Netherlands, with a market capitalization of around €13 billion. It also holds a prominent position in Europe, with a presence in Belgium, Germany, Austria and France. It employs over 20,000 employees in the Netherlands and abroad, and services over 10 million customers across its four divisions: Consumer, Business, Wholesale and Network, Operations & IT.
