India Globalization Capital, Inc. (IGC) is a U.S.-based company that specializes in the purchase and resale of physical infrastructure commodities and the rental of heavy construction equipment, including motor graders and rollers. Operating through two main segments, Infrastructure and Life Sciences, IGC is focused on providing infrastructure solutions to customers in the U.S. and other parts of the world. Through its Infrastructure segment, IGC has built a strong reputation for providing highway construction services, in addition to renting out heavy construction equipment.

In its Life Sciences segment, IGC is primarily focused on providing cannabinoid-based products and therapies, such as hemp-based tinctures to treat anxiety, and enhancing the lifestyle of patients suffering from Alzheimer’s. The company has developed four main brands—Hyalolex, Holief, Herbo and Sunday Seltzer—which each offer a range of CBD-based products, including tinctures, capsules, topical analgesic creams and CBD-infused beverages. IGC also distributes and manufactures hemp extract under the Holi Hemp brand, and provides white labeling support services for customers that are interested in producing their own unique products.

Founded in 2005, IGC is a publicly traded company on the NASDAQ Global Market, with its headquarters located in Potomac, Maryland. Along with its operations in the U.S., IGC has a global reach and presence in India, Colombia and Hong Kong. In addition to its core Infrastructure and Life Sciences segments, the company is also involved in gold and rare earths exploration, and is actively researching projects in India, Mongolia and Africa. IGC is also active in the renewable energy space, and currently has a few solar power projects in various stages of development in India.
