Hecla Mining Company, founded in 1891, is an international precious and base metals producer with operations in the United States and Canada. The company is headquartered in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Hecla Mining Company specializes in the production of silver, gold, lead, and zinc concentrates, as well as carbon material containing silver and gold for sale to custom smelters, metal traders, and third-party processors. The company also produces doré containing silver and gold. Hecla Mining Company owns 100% interests in six mines located in the United States and Canada, including Greens Creek mine in Admiralty Island, Alaska; Lucky Friday mine in northern Idaho; Casa Berardi mine in Abitibi region of northwestern Quebec; San Sebastian mine in Durango, Mexico; Fire Creek mine in Lander County, Nevada; and Hollister and Midas mines in Elko County, Nevada.
