Gildan Activewear Inc. is a leading vertically integrated supplier of basic family apparel products. Founded in 1946, the Company manufactures and sells a wide range of apparel products, such as T-shirts, fleece tops and bottoms, sports shirts, hosiery products, men’s and boys’ underwear, ladies panties, and ladies’ shapewear and accessories under some of the most well-known brands in North America and Europe. The products are sold through its distribution channel to wholesale distributors, screen printers, embellishers, retailers and lifestyle brand companies. It has a production capacity of approximately 134 million units each year.

The Company has facilities across the United States, Canada, Central America, Mexico, and Bangladesh. It has a global presence in the United States, North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America. Its manufacturing facilities are mainly located in Central America, Mexico, and Bangladesh. It has sales offices located in the United States and Canada, as well as distribution centers located in several countries such as Canada, Mexico, Haiti and Honduras. The Company also owns and operates over 4,400 branded retail locations in the United States, Canada and Mexico, under the Gildan and American Apparel brands.
