Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste, S.A.B. de C.V. (ASUR) is a Mexican airport holding company that has been in business since 1998. The company holds concessions to operate, maintain and develop airports in the southeast region of Mexico and in Colombia. ASUR is the world’s first airport group to be listed in the Mexican Stock Exchange and the NYSE.

ASUR currently operates nine airports in Mexico, located in the cities of Cancún, Cozumel, Mérida, Huatulco, Oaxaca, Veracruz, Villahermosa, Tapachula and Minatitlan. In addition, it operates the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Additionally, it holds concessions to operate six airports in Colombia, including the Enrique Olaya Herrera Airport in Medellín and José María Córdova International Airport in Rionegro, the Los Garzones Airport in Montería, the Antonio Roldán Betancourt Airport in Carepa, the El Caraño Airport in Quibdó and the Las Brujas Airport in Corozal.

ASUR is committed to providing travelers with the best possible experience. To that end, the company offers a wide range of services, including aeronautical services such as passenger, aircraft landing and parking, passenger walkway, and airport security services. ASUR also offers non-aeronautical services, including leasing of space at its airports to retailers, restaurants, airlines and other commercial tenants, as well as catering, handling and ground transportation services.

Today, ASUR has grown to become a global industry leader in airport infrastructure and operations, with a presence in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Colombia and various other international markets. The company has invested nearly $2 billion over the past three years in airport infrastructure and services, resulting in improved operations, enhanced safety and better service for customers. In 2020, ASUR was named ‘Airport Operator of the Year’ by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
