ADDvantage Technologies Group, Inc. is a leading distributor and service provider of electronics and hardware, primarily for the telecommunications industry. Since 1989, the company has been providing telecommunications services and equipment to customers in the US and abroad. Through its two segments, Wireless Infrastructure Services and Telecommunications, the company offers a wide range of services, from installation and upgrade of technology, to construction of new small cells for 5G, to central office equipment such as optical transport, switching, and data center equipment, to customer premise equipment, to decommissioning services for obsolete telecom equipment.

The Wireless Infrastructure Services segment is the company’s largest and most active segment. It provides US wireless carriers, communication tower companies, national integrators, and original equipment manufacturers with comprehensive turn-key services. Through this segment, ADDvantage Technologies Group has been able to install, upgrade, and construct new small cell technology for 5G technology on cell sites.

The Telecommunications segment is the company’s second largest segment. Through this segment, the company provides central office equipment, customer premise equipment, and decommissioning services for obsolete telecom equipment. The central office equipment includes optical transport, switching, and data center equipment. The customer premise equipment includes integrated access devices, channel banks, Internet protocol private branch exchange phones, and routers. The decommissioning services provide customers with the opportunity to dispose of unwanted or outdated telecom equipment.

ADDvantage Technologies Group has expanded its presence to become a global provider of telecommunications services and equipment. Currently, it has over 3,000 customers worldwide and operations in five countries, including the US, UK, Ireland, Canada and India. Furthermore, it has acquired several leading companies in the past few years, increasing its presence in the US and abroad. As of 2021, its portfolio is composed of over 20 companies and is made up of over 200,000 products.
